Class with Friends!

Our good friend Dana has been keeping us pretty busy. We had a great morning with Dana, Kyla and some of their friends. We made a note keeper / memo board/ display board. Not sure what everyone will use theirs for. I loved them and wish I had one. Making art with your kids is such a great thing to do. Finding the balance between "a little bit of me and a little bit of you." Met some really great moms and daughters. I hope they are all loving their projects.

Mom and Me!!!!

We enjoyed our first Mom and Me class on Saturday. Girls from 4 to 12 were joined by a special woman in their lives to make a one of kind art canvas together. I loved watching and experiencing as they worked together to design and create art together. As you will see with the results - they all look fabulous. Leslie and I are excited to offer this class again. Let us know if you are interested. What a great Mother's Day gift or Father's day gift. It was also requested that we due a class with sons or brothers. Sounds terrific to us.

Holiday festivities

I mentioned the other day....about making waxed crayon Valentine's with Nina - well....she is now obsessed with making them.  Anytime I mention ironing, cooking or doing a craft , she insists on getting out the cheese grater and waxed paper.  Poor thing, she is going to think that cheese graters are for crayons, not cheese.  This may actually lead to another woman who struggles to make rice krispee treats.  NO WAY!  Just to set the record straight, I made a yummy dinner tonight and desert.  And they were both tasty.

So glad that school vacation starts tomorrow.  We are looking forward to play dates, pajama days, and sorting and organizing.  Can you guess which ones I want the most?  Anyway...today was a success- going to Ella's class to make Valentine's paper weights and magnets.  I brought each girl, remember there are only six kids (all girls) in Ella's class, a t-shirt with an appliqued heart on it as a smock.  They were so excited and fun to work with.

Tomorrow - I have a  house full of girls.  We plan to craft and play in the snow.  Bart is coming home early from work with two more girls to add to the mix.  I'll let you know how we survive.
